Oklahoma Genocide: Massacre at Washita River. – Featuring artwork from 8 Native American artists, the exhibit explores the history of the Cheyenne and Arapaho tribes as well as the horrific truth of what occurred the morning of November 27, 1868, when Lt. Col. George Armstrong Custer attacked the sleeping Cheyenne village of Chief Black Kettle. Contributing artists include Harvey Pratt, George Levi, Halcyon Levi, Robert Martinez, Gordon Yellowman, Michael Elizondo, Matt Learned, and Brent Learned.
